INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY USE FOR BUSINESSES
KIND TRAVELER has firm guidelines in place protecting our brand, logo and intellectual property. We appreciate the full cooperation of our partners, supporters and the media to help enforce these guidelines.
WHAT CONSTITUTES A PARTNERSHIP OR MEMBERSHIP?
KIND TRAVELER enters into official partnerships with hotels, charities and organizations who have an established brand and have met our Kind Factors.
To honor our official corporate partnerships, we ask that all other companies and individuals please refrain from using any language containing the words “partner” or “partnership” or “member” or “membership” when referring to their support of KIND TRAVELER or when featuring us.
USING THE KIND TRAVELER NAME
The KIND TRAVELER name may not be used to promote any product or service without permission from KIND TRAVELER. Furthermore, the KIND TRAVELER name may not be placed on any products or product packaging. Please do not place the KIND TRAVELER name in greater prominence than the Hotel partner or Charity partner or product benefiting KIND TRAVELER on any approved promotional materials or websites.
USE OF KIND TRAVELER LOGO
Use of the “KIND TRAVELER logo” is strictly prohibited outside of official corporate partnerships. The KIND TRAVELER logo should always have a space between the two words.
USE OF KIND TRAVELER IMAGES
Businesses, blogs and media websites are encouraged to include KIND TRAVELER designed logos and banners on their website and in reviews. The banners can be found here. All other uses of KIND TRAVELER images, photos, and graphics are strictly prohibited outside of official corporate partnerships, media features or reviews.
SPONSORSHIP OR ENDORSEMENT OF CAMPAIGNS
KIND TRAVELER exercises complete discretion when choosing to promote individuals, campaigns or companies through any of our social media platforms and is not able to accommodate individual requests for promotion.
APPROPRIATED USE
The KIND TRAVELER name cannot appear on any websites including content or advertising for tobacco, political material or firearms or cruelty toward animals or persons. We will not allow our name to be associated with any product, service or messaging that is involved in the inhumane treatment of animals (that includes animal testing, inhumane farm animal treatment, the use or sale of furs or hides) or persons or any product or service that is obscene, pornographic, violent, intolerant, tasteless, denigrating or sexually oriented.
