ABOUT
The Setting
Virgin Hotels debuts their newest boutique in the heart of Nashville’s Music Row and it’s singing our tune. Situated southwest of pulsing downtown known for late-into-the-night bacchanalia, you’ll find neighbors like the iconic RCA Studio B, where the likes of Elvis Presley and Dolly Parton recorded, as well as upscale shops and restaurants.
Why Virgin Hotels is getting a standing ovation from us, however, is their company-wide mission to ensure Everyone Leaves Feeling Better. They accomplish this with heartfelt customer experiences, they empower guests to limit their carbon footprint, and invite all regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, disability, spiritual beliefs or any component of identity, to feel welcome and valued. That even includes species, furry pals stay free.
Sleep and Sanctuary
Music City may soon be Sleep City after a night in one of Virgin Hotels patented ergonomically designed beds with a channel-tufted headboard. You’ll find typical Virgin Hotels handy-work in any of the 262 Chambers and extra large Suites. Pull open your sliding barn door (complete with peephole) to find The Dressing Room, including a full vanity tucked between two white oak closet systems, sit-down makeup desk with mounted illuminated mirror, and an extra-large shower with a bench (all bath products are cruelty-free).
On the other side in the The Lounge, you’ll find your sleeping area, a red SMEG® mini fridge stocked with street-priced snacks alongside an HDTV and a yoga mat. All Chambers feature custom lighting on sensors that automatically illuminate when guests move and ample outlets for smartphones and other electronic devices, which comes in handy for Kind Travelers who get free Wi-Fi as a perk. Your best friend is more than welcome at Virgin Hotels Nashville with pet-friendly chambers and comfy pet-menities as cozy as your own. No fees.
Eat. Pray. Eat
It’s rare to describe the ground floor of a hotel as inspirational, but the Commons Club at Virgin Hotels Nashville is an eat/work/chill/imbibe space that inspires appetites and conversations. On the culinary tip, Commons Club’s globally inspired menu blends worldly flavors with a Southern flare. Dishes and cocktails on the menu feature fresh vegetables and herbs harvested from the onsite culinary garden located on the patio. Nearby, you’ll find Funny Library Coffee Shop where you can hang out with friends, work remotely, or simply grab a quick bite. This bustling coffee shop, designed by Johnny Cash’s granddaughter, Hannah Crowell, serves J’enwey teas, inspired café concoctions with La Colombe, pressed juices and healthy bites. Dining is also available in your cozy chamber, should you have an appetite for seclusion.
