ABOUT

The Setting

There’s just something about a historic wine country boutique hotel that oozes charm and sophistication out of every nook and cranny. Let us introduce you to the Stavrand Hotel in Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley. This historic hillside hideaway dates back to 1922 but was recently given a new lease on life and a fabulous reimagination by owner/GM Emily Glick. The transformation seamlessly blended the property’s past with chic styling to create a Sonoma escape inspiring contemplation and adventure.

So much so that it even made Travel + Leisure’s “It List” of the Top 100 New Hotels in the world. Grab a yellow cruiser bike and take the path to Guerneville’s Main Street, a charming enclave featuring locally owned cafes, bars and restaurants, shopping, galleries, and tasting rooms. Or, grab a kayak and hit the Russian River, mere steps from the property. Or, grab a glass of Sonoma pinot and simply soothe amidst the surrounding Redwoods with a book from the Stavrand’s library. Ok, all of the above.
