The Letty Coppel Foundation integrates its three fields of action—social assistance, community development, and culture and traditions—to foster the well-being and integral development of families, enhancing the quality of life within the communities it serves. Through social assistance, it addresses immediate needs such as healthcare, education, and basic resources, support for people with disabilities, special attention for the elderly, ensuring families have a foundation of support. Community development initiatives focus on empowerment, offering vocational training, infrastructure improvements, and programs to promote economic self-sufficiency. Letty Coppel listens to the people, sets goals, and works closely together to achieve results from their social programs towards the positive development of the community. Some of these programs include mobile medical units, summer workshops for children, a focus on women’s healthcare needs and offering support to women living under the specter of violence. By preserving and celebrating cultural traditions, the foundation strengthens community bonds and fosters a shared identity, cultivating a sense of belonging and pride. Together, these efforts create a holistic approach to enriching lives and nurturing sustainable, resilient communities. Whether supporting social, cultural, and historic heritage defense projects or protecting and conserving endemic wildlife species, including their Sea Turtle Protection and Preservation program, the Letty Coppel Foundation has been a reference in stimulating such movements in Mazatlan and Los Cabos.
The Letty Coppel Foundation operates two Social Assistance Centers located in the municipalities of Mazatlán and Los Cabos. The first Social Assistance Center was established in the city of Mazatlán, offering free services to the community, and thus achieving a widespread benefit for all its residents. Due to the resounding success and the great work carried out through the Social Assistance Center in Mazatlán, the Foundation expanded the chain of support to the community of Los Cabos.
