ABOUT

The Setting

The Olympic Committee struck gold when choosing Palisades Tahoe as the site for the 1960 Winter Olympics. With the picturesque Sierra Nevada slopes surrounding and the northern shores of beautiful blue Lake Tahoe a stone’s throw away, the only thing that could make it more idyllic is PlumpJack Inn. This cozy lodge offers you a true year-round Tahoe experience, ski in and out, raft down the Truckee River, hike and bike thousands of acres of nearby trails, all while being steps from The village at Palisades Tahoe’s shopping and dining. What we love most about this Trip Advisor Greenleader is its PlumpJack Foundation, which unites PlumpJack’s many philanthropic and service pursuits under one umbrella. The foundation fosters hope and enacts positive change in their community while striving to answer “what can I do that will make your life better, today, right now?"

Sleep and Sanctuary

Cozy on up in PlumpJack’s 55 well-appointed rooms and eight different varieties of suites. Wake up to picturesque views of the snowy Sierra Nevada Mountains (some rooms) and have your coffee in a plush robe on the luxurious bed. A perfect home base for all that North Lake Tahoe offers, indeed. Your four-legged friends will want to join in all your Tahoe explorations, so PlumpJack encourages you to bring your pup.
