ABOUT
The Setting
The laid-back California lifestyle is yours to behold at The Pierside Santa Monica. This brand new beachy beauty is aptly named, you’re just steps from the world-famous Santa Monica Pier (with the world’s only solar-powered Ferris wheel) and its vibrant scene. You can go from the beach to bed in a matter of minutes. Next door, find a six-acre urban oasis at Tongva Park, with winding paths featuring rolling hills, local artist sculptures and rich Santa Monica flora. Your dogs will love the beach life, too and nearby Herb Katz Dog Park is the perfect place to mix with some locals. Furthermore, the Pierside is one of only six hotels in Santa Monica to be Energy Star Certified. More specifically, they help protect the environment by generating fewer greenhouse gas emissions than typical buildings. To be certified as Energy Star, a building must meet strict energy performance standards set by EPA. Lastly, should all that salty sea air makes you thirsty, there are water stations throughout the hotel and you’re given your refillable water bottle.
Sleep and Sanctuary
The dreamy 132 guest rooms and suites at The Pierside aim to please the design enthusiast seeking a beachy refuge. Soothe your aura amongst natural textures and aesthetics inspired by Santa Monica’s lush landscapes. Each room features plenty of natural light and oh-so-large floor-to-ceiling glass for taking in sunsets over the ocean or sweeping views of Tongva Park and beyond. Discover welcoming touches like locally-sourced minibars, complimentary refillable stainless-steel water bottles, walk-in showers, custom comfy bathrobes from Boca Terry and a pet program that will have your pooch living the good life, too.
