ABOUT
The Setting
Oakland has always been a spirited city, and the arrival of the new Moxy Hotel in the uptown arts and entertainment district couldn’t be a more welcome addition. Moxy is nestled along bustling Telegraph Ave, neighboring the historic art deco Fox Theater, a mere mile from the vibrant Jack London Square, and a 5-minute walk from a BART station to take you anywhere in the San Francisco Bay your heart desires. The arts district locale totally fits, considering the Moxy features rotating art installations and the building’s façade features a six-story art installation titled "Shapeshift Oakland," created by world-renowned local artist Thom Faulders. The towering aluminum structure reflects the community’s continuous strive for change and celebrates the diversity, open-mindedness, creativity, and inclusivity of guests and locals alike.
Sleep and Sanctuary
The 172 thoughtfully stylish Cozy King and High Floor King bedrooms at Moxy possess the Midas touch when it comes to chic comfort. Each boasts a King-sized bed with a pillow top mattress, a blatant indulgence of thread count sheets, and local artwork. Get some work done or relax and chill enjoying free speedy Wi-Fi for screencasting and built-in USB ports. These pet-friendly rooms also offer charitable views of downtown Oakland, and the High Floor King Rooms take the views out even further to the bay.
