Inspired by the storied and glamorous history of the city it calls home, guest rooms at Hotel Indigo Los Angeles feature a visually striking mix of vintage and Art Deco decor with modern accents. Walls are covered by cityscape imagery, while the oversized spa-style bathrooms sparkle with the glitz of the movie industry’s Golden Age. Design and decor highlights include hardwood flooring, plush bedding, and Tivoli Bluetooth Audio.

Eco-features within guest rooms include a “Don’t Wash My Towel” program designed to conserve water, energy-efficient lighting, and individually controllable thermostats. The bathrooms also incorporate eco-friendly, refillable dispensers for shampoos and gels.

Room options range from stylish 330- to 357-square-foot Standard King and Queens to an elegant 1,400-square-foot Presidential Suite.

The hotel’s two hotspots are Metropole Kitchen + Bar and the stylish penthouse cocktail lounge 18 Social.

At Metropole Kitchen + Bar, which is known for its casual yet polished vibe, you’ll find such vegetarian-friendly dishes as cauliflower steak with smoked chimichurri and pomegranate seeds, and the inventive entree Loupe De Mer—a cauliflower puree featuring creme fraiche, sautéed spinach and citrus basil sauce.

Upstairs in the 18th-floor penthouse cocktail lounge 18 Social, guests are treated to the glam and style that’s to be expected in a city inhabited by stars, as well as a stellar skyline view provided by floor-to-ceiling glass. It’s the perfect perch to observe the City of Angels while enjoying Prohibition-era cocktails inspired by legendary figures like FDR.
