ABOUT
The Setting
The newly renovated Galleria Park Hotel is an urban haven nestled between San Francisco’s bustling Union Square and the financial district. Reinvigorating a 1911 art deco gem, Joie de Vivre has brought all the modern touches and chic style you’d expect from the brand, paired with amenities like a secret garden terrace with walking track and a (Napa adjacent) daily wine tasting for guests. What has Kind Traveler toasting this Forbes recommended hotel is their partnership with Project Homeless Connect and the Cozy Feet Project, where for every pair of socks purchased from the in-room honor bar, a pair is donated.
Sleep and Sanctuary
In each of the recently re-imagined guestrooms and suites, Kind Travelers will have the pleasure of sinking into signature Joie de Vivre bedding as they gaze out to enchanting city views or adorned contemporary artwork. Also relish in such amenities as fully stocked mini-bars with healthy treats, marble top work desks, super quick WiFi, luxurious rain showers and eco-friendly Jonathan Adler bath products. If late sleepers miss the complimentary morning coffee and tea service, they’ll be delighted to find a Illy espresso machine in their room.
Eat. Pray. Eat.
Coming from the Joie de Vivre brand, it’s only apropos to find yourself immersed in Parisian flair in Gaspar’s Brasserie. Named “Best French Bistro” by San Francisco Magazine, this handsome boîte offers approachable French classics with Northern California flourishes as well as handcrafted cocktails. Also, don’t forget about daily social and sipping hour from 4-6 pm.
