ABOUT
The Setting
Washington, D.C is experiencing an explosion of culture and diversity that has garnered the highest praise from some well-known tastemakers. Of course, you know about countless historic landmarks and museums, but did you know D.C’s art scene has been established as one of the country’s oldest and best, not to mention the burgeoning food, beer, and cocktail culture? In short, D.C. is cool. Adding to that cool factor is the new The Ven Embassy Row Hotel in historic Dupont Circle. An eclectic and walkable neighborhood where historic homes meet art, music, boutique shopping, dining, and nightlife. Here, you’ll find a community that takes pride in its diversity, being one of the most historic and prominent LBGTQ+ communities in the nation. In the Ven, you’ll find an art gallery, a hip and social-centric restaurant, a serene rooftop pool and with sparkling city views offering morning yoga, a gigantic fitness studio, and playful modern decor, all housed in an Eco-Friendly hotel committed to sustainable initiatives, and mere steps from the city’s Metro Red Line and Smithsonian Museum. Like we said, cool.
Sleep and Sanctuary
The Ven’s 231 newly re-designed guest rooms and suites reflect the bold style of Dupont Circle. Find eclectic furnishings and some whimsy in hideaways designed for savvy travelers, diplomats, intellectuals, artists and Kind Travelers alike. Local artwork and antiques lend balance to the ultra-modern interiors and the floor-to ceiling windows offer spectacular DC city and Dupont Circle views. Rooms range from Standard King or Queen to a One Bedroom Suite. The bathrooms are luxuriously equipped with eco-friendly Nest products and rooms boast other nice touches like pour-over coffee and on-demand yoga and meditation through Staycast.
