ABOUT
The Setting
Housed in the landmark Salvador Vallejo Building, built-in 1843, is the El Dorado Hotel & Kitchen. Don’t let her age fool you, this recent inhabitant of the building has been thoughtfully redesigned and modernized with features such as an award-winning restaurant focused on seasonal farm-driven fare and a solar-heated saltwater swimming pool. Ideally located in charming Sonoma Plaza, this hideaway is just steps from hip art galleries, world-class wine tasting rooms and specialty boutiques.
Sleep and Sanctuary
Each of El Dorado’s 27 guest rooms boast French doors that lead to private balconies, opening up the sophisticated rooms to views of Sonoma Plaza and vineyards beyond. Despite the hotel’s age, you’ll find modern touches like complimentary Wi-Fi, Tivoli Bluetooth audio systems, Illy espresso machines and mini-fridges alongside Kind touches like reusable water bottles and original local artwork.
