ABOUT
The Setting
Let us introduce you to the brand spankin’ new offering from Adrift Hospitality, the Bowline Hotel. The mission of Adrift, a Social Purpose and certified B Corporation, is to inspire and engage its employees and guests to live and connect with each other and the environment through an authentic and fun experience. Most importantly, to be actively engaged and make a positive impact on the communities they inhabit. In this case, that lucky community is Astoria, Oregon, a picturesque settlement (oldest west of the Rockies) nestled against the Columbia River as it makes its way to the Pacific. The Bowline occupies an historic sardine cannery on the Astoria riverfront, that preserves the industrial, maritime space with clean Scandinavian-style furnishings and exposed locally-milled wood beams. Most of the appointments in the hotel were curated in partnership with local makers, just adding to the authentic Pacific Northwest feels.
Sleep and Sanctuary
The forty rooms, including two spacious suites, at Bowline Hotel are the result of deliberate decisions balancing industrial aesthetics and modern comforts. Take in the view from your private balcony overlooking the Columbia River and historic Astoria. Come home to sprawling King beds adorned with luxurious sheets and the warming glow of your own gas fireplace. From the art on the walls to your morning cup of Joe, all rooms are swathed in locally crafted touches. Enjoy other warming niceties like cozy throw blankets, hooded jersey bathrobes and luxurious eco-friendly bath products. Your furry pals are welcome in all first-floor rooms.
