• Lobby Bar – Notable for its live jazz gigs held nightly, and at brunch on the weekends, this swanky, lobby hide-away should definitely be on your Betsy to-do list. Sip specialty cocktails crafted with local flavors and fresh ingredients and delivered with the stellar service that’s consistent throughout Betsy’s property.

Hohauser Wing​

• The Carlton Room – In the, historic lobby of the Hohauser wing lies this communal lounging space, complete with a coffee shop. Light fare and mixed drinks are available as well, inviting guests to break bread and share a drink with friends, new and/or old.

The Art of De-stressing

The Ocean Front Deck is home to a host of de-stressing activities. Rise with the dawn for sunrise yoga (held Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays) The hotel also houses its own 24-hour fitness center, offering internet-connected bikes, machines with TV’s and complimentary headphones, in addition to fresh apples, of course. Personal trainers are also available upon request.

If anything speaks to the soul of this property, it has to be the Writer’s Room, housed in the Dixon wing. This space of respite invites writers to get in their zones, a peaceful retreat recalling the “writing rooms” common to hotels of the pre-war era (in turn, falling in line with Betsy’s historical element as a whole). B Bar is another space meant for literary geniuses: a vintage-vibe speakeasy (also in the Dixon Wing) that hosts poetry readings and can be booked for special events, too. The Hohauser Wing offers further de-stressing options, including a 24-hour library and an enormous outdoor courtyard, called the Atrium. This wing also hosts a rooftop pool with a spacious deck, which only enhances the ante of the Dixon Wing's ground-level Courtyard Pool. Lastly, but far from least, don’t forget your salt-water swim option. Turquoise waves and white sands await you at the beachfront Betsy, in addition to its famous service, which extends to the beach as well.
