ABOUT
The Setting
Housed in the historic landmark Armory building in delightful Downtown Bozeman is the brand new Kimpton Armory. Known as the creative capital of Montana, this charming and historic enclave places you near Yellowstone National Park, Big Sky and the Gallatin River, while surrounded by purple mountains majesty. Historic Main Street is supremely walkable and chock full of foodie-approved restaurants, galleries, boutique shops and farmers markets. The opportunities for outdoor excursions—hiking, biking, blue-ribbon fly-fishing, rafting, skiing—are almost too many to list. The hotel seamlessly merges the past spirit of the American West with modern 4-star (the first and only in Bozeman) refinement and Kind initiatives. Expect your pets to be pampered too, as long as they fit in the elevator, they’re welcome.
Sleep and Sanctuary
The spirit of the West permeates the impossibly comfortable guest rooms and suites at the Kimpton Armory, where high-end elegance incorporates natural materials like rich woods, hand stitched leather and hand-woven textiles. Find Essential King and Essential Queen Queen guest rooms with sanctuary-style bathrooms alongside a Peloton Room should you prefer to ride in your own lair. The thirteen suites range from One-Bedrooms to a Presidential/Parlor Suite combo with a balcony to savor Rocky Mountain and Downtown Bozeman views. In partnership with Literary Hub, you can enjoy seasonal book recommendations from the comfort of your guest room. Also enjoy fine Kimpton touches like premium Bluetooth speakers, captivating original artwork, yoga mats with plenty of room to stretch, healthy treats in the honor bar and cozy robes hanging in the closet.
Eat. Pray. Eat.
If you find the Armory Hotel awash with revelers, that’s most likely due to bustling eatery Fielding’s, along with two welcoming watering holes, one below and one on top. The namesake of Fred Fielding Willson, the architect of the original Bozeman Armory building, Fielding’s is rooted in the traditions of American regional cooking. Serving up seasonal fare sourced from local growers and purveyors who deliver the best ingredients that Montana’s fields, forests, rivers and farms have to offer. The Tune-Up Basement Bar is a live music joint where you can let your hair down and sip craft whiskey cocktails, then soak it up with fried pickles and curds. The Sky Shed is a glass-enclosed rooftop gathering place with a fire pit and cozy furnishings, perfect for unwinding with a glass of organic wine while enjoying that big ‘ol sky.
