ABOUT
The Setting
Chicago, our kinda town. That is, since the arrival of the seminal Virgin Hotels Chicago. Housed in the old Dearborn Bank building, this thoughtfully-crafted boutique hotel takes on Chicago’s hip Loop neighborhood where you’ll find eclectic eateries, the renowned Art Institute of Chicago and Millenium and Grant Parks. Most importantly, this LEED Certified hotel has leadership and staff committed to improving the guest experience, along with reducing our impact to the planet, adopting operations that will move us toward Virgin Hotel’s goal of net zero-net zero carbon and net zero waste. “Chicago, it’s my kind of town,” sorry, this just makes us want to sing.
Sleep and Sanctuary
At Virgin Hotels Chicago, the 250 lifestyle-focused Chambers and suites are split in two by a sliding set of privacy doors, which creates two separate areas: a space for living and a space for sleeping. There will be no judgement for hibernating at-will in the Virgin Hotels Patented Lounge Bed- a hybrid bed that functions both as a playpen and bed with an ergonomic headboard that allows for several seated positions and multi-dimensional lounging. The other side of the Chamber houses your dressing room, featuring an airy hallway, smart Poliform closet, and lavish bathroom, complete with rainfall showerhead and shower bench to boot. For those “movin’ on up,” a decadent Penthouse and Sir Richard’s Flat brings all the spoils. As with any Virgin Hotels outpost, your furry friends are welcomed for free and pampered to the nines.
